In 2008, Mr. Chen Shenghe identified the value of tea in Lao Ban Zhang village. He signed contracts with the villagers, from then onwards Chensheng Tea Co., Ltd became the major buyer of Lao Ban Zhang tea raw material. Since then, most of Lao Ban Zhang Pu'er tea, whether compressed into cake size or brick, was manufactured and branded by Chensheng Tea Co., Ltd.
老班章 Lao Ban Zhang, a world-known Pu’er tea that has a strong, mellow and thick taste, famously referred to as the “King of Pu’er tea”.
Real and Reliable Source of Lao Ban Zhang Raw Materials
In February 2008, Chen Sheng Tea Co., Ltd. signed a 30-year cooperation agreement with Lao Ban Zhang Village. Chen Sheng Tea Co., Ltd. invested millions of Chinese Yuan in the construction of Menghai Chen Sheng Lao Ban Zhang Production Base for the initial processing of Lao Ban Zhang Pu'er tea.

Since the cooperation, “老班章 Lao Ban Zhang” has received many awards and has great influences on the tea industry’s standard for judging Lao Ban Zhang Pu’er tea. The tree tea produced in the Lao Ban Zhang base of Chen Sheng Hao has won the awards "King of Tea" for many consecutive Menghai County “King of Tea” Competitions.

Gongfu style (recommended)
5–7 g of leaf per 100 ml, water at 95–100 °C. Rinse once for about 5 seconds and pour it away. Start with 10–15 second infusions and add a few seconds each round. Good pu-erh gives 10 or more infusions.
Western style
3 g per 250 ml cup, water at 95–100 °C, steep 3–5 minutes.
Storage
Keep the cake in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and strong smells.
