Chinese zodiac culture is an integral part of traditional Chinese culture, rooted in the lunar calendar and astrological beliefs. The Chinese zodiac consists of twelve animal signs, with each animal representing a year in a twelve-year cycle. The twelve animals are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
In 2008, Chen Shenghao infused zodiac culture into products and launched the zodiac raw and ripe tea series. This is a collection of raw Puerh and ripe Puerh.
In 2019, this collection completed the first round of "Twelve Zodiac Reunion." 2020 is the year of the Rat, Chen Sheng Hao proudly presents the second version of "Ling Shu Zhao Cai" (灵鼠招财), meaning to wish people wisdom and courage in the new year, to seize opportunities, and to achieve success and wealth.
In Chinese culture, the Rat is considered a symbol of intelligence, wit, and adaptability. The year of the Rat is believed to be a time of new beginnings, opportunities, and good fortune, as well as being a time to use one's intelligence and resourcefulness to achieve success.
The Ripe Puerh selected fermented large-leaf arbor tree leaves. The brewed liquor is a bright wine red. The liquor is wine red, clear and bright, with a distinct aged aroma. The taste is mellow and smooth.
Gongfu style (recommended)
5–7 g of leaf per 100 ml, water at 95–100 °C. Rinse once for about 5 seconds and pour it away. Start with 10–15 second infusions and add a few seconds each round. Good pu-erh gives 10 or more infusions.
Western style
3 g per 250 ml cup, water at 95–100 °C, steep 3–5 minutes.
Storage
Keep the cake in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and strong smells.
