"Emperor (Ba Wang)" Pu’er tea cake is one of the benchmark products from Chen Sheng Hao. Since its launch in 2009, it has been well known as a product that has a bitter taste at the beginning but brings salivation right away and a pronounced floral aroma. It can last for 15 steeps (Ex: 7g tea served with 150ml water) and still hold its flavor.
Gongfu style (recommended)
5–7 g of leaf per 100 ml, water at 95–100 °C. Rinse once for about 5 seconds and pour it away. Start with 10–15 second infusions and add a few seconds each round. Good pu-erh gives 10 or more infusions.
Western style
3 g per 250 ml cup, water at 95–100 °C, steep 3–5 minutes.
Storage
Keep the cake in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and strong smells.
