2012 Heaven (天韵, Tian Yun) is the first Heaven Chen Sheng Hao made. It is a raw pu-erh pressed from old-arbor leaf grown in the high mountain forests of Xishuangbanna, and it started the line that Chen Sheng Hao has continued every year since.

Heaven belongs to Chen Sheng Hao's top-tier Heaven, Earth, People, Harmony series. Chen Sheng Hao sorts its raw teas into four taste profiles: high aroma, strong cha qi, thick base and deep yun. Each cake in the series stands for one, and Heaven stands for high aroma. Earth, People and Harmony were made only in 2016 and 2017. Heaven is the one Chen Sheng Hao has kept making.
Taste
Chen Sheng Hao described the young tea as fresh and lively, with a mellow, smooth and aromatic liquor, very quick salivation, a clear sweetness and strong cha qi. Raw pu-erh of this age has usually softened in bitterness and begun to show an aged aroma; how far it has changed depends on storage.
Heaven has been made from Na Ka leaf since 2014. For this first edition, Chen Sheng Hao names the source only as Xishuangbanna.

Gongfu style (recommended)
5–7 g of leaf per 100 ml, water at 95–100 °C. Rinse once for about 5 seconds and pour it away. Start with 10–15 second infusions and add a few seconds each round. Good pu-erh gives 10 or more infusions.
Western style
3 g per 250 ml cup, water at 95–100 °C, steep 3–5 minutes.
Storage
Keep the cake in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and strong smells.
