"Emperor" (霸王青饼) is one of the award-winning and featured raw Pu'er tea of Chen Sheng Hao, made with ORGANIC large-leaf arbor tea tree leaves from tea mountains over 1800m high in Bu Lang Mountain. This product has been released since 2009. It is well known as a raw Pu'er tea that has strong and penetrating characteristics like "Emperor". It has strong bitterness upfront, penetrating aroma, pronounced salivation and sweet-after-taste, long cooling, and powerful Cha Qi. It can last for 15 steeps and still have good taste. This Pu'er tea is worth owning and revisiting after storing for years.
Dried Leaves
After a long period of aging, the appearance of tea leaves is reddish-brown, and the hairy tips and buds turned into tawny. The dry leaves smell woody and slightly earthy smelling.

The aged tea soup is a brownish yellow, and the older one reveals wine red (the older the year, the darker the color)

Taste
Aged "Emperor" raw Pu'er has developed a distinct aged taste (Chen Wei). The "Chen Wei" is considered a part of the charm of Pu'er tea as the tea becomes more mellow, smooth, and complex. The depth and body have a strong bitterness with sweet-after-taste and powerful "Cha Qi".
